I had so much fun creating the Vision visual last year for 2019 so I thought I'd do it again! I have learned and grown a lot this year and excited to put this together. I'm changing up the format a bit and I'll explain a little bit why.
Taking away the word goal and replacing it with INTENTION
Don't get me wrong, I'm still a goal setter but I've been shifting more to using the word 'intention' and setting intentions rather then hard and fast goals. I've been challenging myself throughout 2019 to take a more relaxed (verses frantic) approach to my life and business and I think the word intention is a good fit for that.
Focusing on the year instead of a new year's resolution vibe.
After I put the visual out I regretted one giant design flaw. I wanted it to be more reflective of a year instead of the standard: new year's resolution. Focusing on resolutions I think takes away from the focus of looking at what your year could look like instead of a short time frame or new year. I think being able to look at the visual as a whole instead of something that might feel like it's only reflective of the January 1st celebrations and vision.
I had a lot of people reach out to me and share how they enjoyed the one I did for 2019. Here's one of their comments!

The design was festive, clear, results-oriented and made me want to really narrow down what was essential for the year. I spent two hours colouring and personalizing the vision board. Word of the Year
Last year my word of the year was BEYOND. I do feel like that word was really reflective of what my 2019 ending up being. In my post last year I wrote: In 2019 I want to experience things beyond my imagination, beyond my wildest dreams, beyond my limitations and beyond my expectations! I also want to push myself beyond my beliefs, beyond my comfort zone and beyond fear.
I liked the flexibility that this word provided. I felt like I could let go and allow things to go beyond what I felt was possible in the moment and be open to more.
