Podcasts I listened to in 2018

2018 was the year of the podcast for me. I really started realizing all of the amazing podcast that are out there and the smart and talented people behind them. I spent all year flip-flopping between audiobooks and podcasts. I tried out lots of different ones but this list here has been more my consistent listening. Each podcast here I listen to at least a few episodes per podcast and have subscribed to these.

In no particular order here is the list of my favorite podcasts in 2018.

Hack the Entrepreneur.

If you are a new entrepreneur or someone who's been in the game for a while now this podcast is for listeners of all backgrounds. I really like the format of this podcast.the host brings on a guest for each episode and they talk about their business and some insights that they've experienced along the way.at the end of the podcast the hose goes back and picks up one bigger learning thing to take away and highlights that. he's got hundreds of episodes which can be a little bit overwhelming but if you're looking for a certain topic in particular then you can scroll through and get inspiration.

Smart Passive Income.

I admire Pat's story about how he was an architect who lost his job and started doing online marketing and really focused his efforts on what passive income would look like. This podcast is a crazy wealth of knowledge if your just wondering what passive income might look for you or to hear some interesting stories. I love how down-to-earth and real Pat is. I did purchase his audiobook (Will it fly) and I'm making my way through it.

Fierce Feminine Leadership

Eleanor Beaton is the woman behind this podcast. She's actually based close to where I live but works with women entrepreneurs all over the world. I actually went to Toronto a few weeks ago and attended her Power Presence and Positioning event. I like the way that she presents information and how she always has an opportunity for people to work with her, or a call to action at the end of each podcast. I recently seen that she's embracing more video stuff as well on LinkedIn and Instagram. If you are a woman entrepreneur in particular this is a good one to listen to.

The Jennifer Allwood Show

I can't remember how I came across Jennifer Allwood but I followed her on Instagram for a little bit and started listening to her podcast. I feel like this podcast is more open for product-based women run businesses. There is some gems in there as well. I like that she has some stuff around that mindset in her podcast. If you're new to online business in particular, this is probably a good one to hit up.

Sketchnote Army

I actually feel a little embarrassed that I just recently found out about this podcast. I remember searching about a year ago for visual practitioner type podcasts and couldn't really come across any but it looks like this podcast has been around for a couple of years. I have just been going through a picking and choosing, listening to a few episode so far and they have been inspiring to say the least. I am really looking forward to listening more. This is a great podcast for graphic recorders, graphic facilitators and anyone who might be interested and using visuals to help gain clarity through complex ideas.

Find the Outside

Tim Merry and Tuesday Ryan-Heart are the duo behind this podcast. I've never met Tuesday but have similar social circles to Tim as he lives locally, close to me. I find his work very fascinating and interesting and definitely a common thread between our worlds. As change facilitators they have a unique perspective and I think there relationship has a interesting dynamic on how they work together. This is a new podcast and I listen to a bit of it so far and I'm looking to see what they come out with in 2019.

Eventual Millionaire

For someone who is trying to rewrite their money story and think differently about money, listening to a podcast like this is really interesting. It's great to hear people's stories around how they reach their millionaire status. The host brings on guests for every episode and interviews them about their journey and it's very interesting to hear how some of them have common threads but ultimately how they persevered to reach their goals. An interesting podcast to listen to if you're looking at up leveling your income for sure.

Lucky Bitch Podcast

So if you read my list of the books that I read in 2018 then this title might look familiar. Denise who is the brains behind the Lucky Bitch empire has a really throughout podcast with tons of episodes. I would suggest if you're not looking at getting into a book right now but you're trying to rewrite your money stuff, picking out a few these episodes to listen would be highly recommended.

Mind Your Business

James Wedmore is the host of this program. He's an online marketing Guru and has been in his field for as long as it it's existed pretty much. I really like this podcast in particular because even though I'm not really into online marketing there's a lot of really awesome mindset tips and tricks and information that is helpful and interesting for entrepreneurs of all kinds. I just started listening this one and will likely be listening to it into 2019 as well.

Creative Slide

I just started this one by Jon Acuff but I'm really enjoying it so far. I like the conversation in this one so far around entrepreneurship, creativity, risk taking, leap jumping, etc.

Thanks for checking out my 2018 podcast list and I'll update folks through 2019 on what I'm listening too!
