How I spent 2022 in My Graphic Recording, Live Illustration Business
In 2022 my time was divided into 4 main categories: live digital graphic recording, live in person, creating graphics from pre or post recordings and studio work. I did about the same amount of studio work as I did last year but my live in person and my graphics from recordings percentages went up and my live digital went down. Most of the live in person work happened in the later part of the year as travel options became more available. Almost all of my travel work was local and meant I had a drive a short distance. Getting back in-person and using my markers again has been a real treat!

Studio work breakdown:
The studio work that I illustrated this year was a really interesting mix. Here are some of the different types of studio projects I worked on.
Year over year number of graphic recordings
I don't believe in overnight success. You'll see here that over the first few years I grew slowly but consistently. Even though the pandemic entered our lives in 2020 I had a huge spike in number of graphics created, this is because remotely and digitally I can create much more then what I can create in person.

In 2022 I drew around 612 graphics from either the live digital, live in person or from post/pre recordings!

I've drawn an estimate 2229 presentations/conversations since I started back in 2013. Before March 2020 I was fully in person and since 2020 graphics have been created mostly digitally with more in-person later this year.
